Terms

The whole deal, in plain English.

Effective October 12, 2026 · Ben Beck, Beck Web Studio, Alamo, California

Who this is between. These terms are between you, the business that hires me, and me, Ben Beck, for Thrive Cleaners LLC, doing business as Beck Web Studio. You agree to them when you sign the intake form, and again when you check the terms box at payment. If anything here is unclear, ask me before you sign. I'd rather answer the question than win the argument later.

The build. The website is $2,000: everything your draft showed, which is the main page, a page with all your work, and a page for each service your own jobs and photos support. Every build includes your changes. You fill in a short intake form, I build your changes and send you the site, you get one more round of changes within 7 days of your intake form, and it goes live on your domain when you approve it. Changes stay within the pages your draft showed; if photos you send support another service, that page is built in your round of changes. A new page beyond that, such as a town or a service without photos yet, is part of the Grow plan or quoted separately. A business with more than one location is quoted separately.

Paying for the build up front. Half when you say yes and half when you approve the finished site: $1,000 and $1,000. I never bill the second half before you’ve approved the site.

Approval. When I send you the finished site, you have 5 business days to tell me anything that's off. If I haven't heard from you by then, the site counts as approved, and on the up-front path the second half is invoiced then.

Nothing down. Instead of paying for the build up front, you can pay $349 a month for twelve months. That covers the build and the Hosting plan; choosing Care ($449 a month) or Grow ($599 a month) during those twelve months adds the difference in plan price. This path has a twelve-month minimum: if you cancel before the twelfth payment, the remaining payments are still due. From month thirteen, you pay whichever monthly plan you pick.

Monthly plans. Every site I host is on a monthly plan, billed to the card on file, starting the day the site goes live. Hosting, $99 a month: hosting, HTTPS, backups, security, and uptime monitoring; changes are $50 each. Care, $199 a month: everything in Hosting, plus your newest reviews added to the site every month, new jobs added to your portfolio when you send photos, changes to wording, prices, services, or crew when you ask, a call tracking number on your site, and a one-page report on the first of each month: calls from the site, visits, the towns they came from, and the new reviews added. Grow, $349 a month: everything in Care, plus one new page a month for a service or town you want more of, built from your own jobs.

What counts as one change. One request about one thing: a price, a sentence, a photo swapped, a crew member added, one new job in your portfolio. On Hosting, each is $50, added to your next monthly bill. A new page or section is quoted separately on any plan.

Paying a year up front. Any plan paid a year in advance gets two months free: Hosting $990, Care $1,990, Grow $3,490. A prepaid year runs to its end if you cancel partway and isn't refunded.

Canceling. The monthly plans are month to month, with no contract (the nothing-down twelve months aside). Cancel anytime from the link in your receipt or by emailing me. Your plan runs to the end of the month you've paid for, and partial months aren't refunded. You can switch plans anytime.

What's yours. Your domain is registered in your name from day one. The site's files are yours once the build is paid in full: at the second payment if you paid up front, or at the twelfth payment on nothing down. If you ever leave, I send you a complete export, free, that runs on any standard web host.

Referrals. If you send me a contractor who signs, you get one month of Care free, credited to your next bill.

The footer line. Your site carries a small “Built by Beck Web Studio” line in its footer, linking to my site. It stays there while I build and host your site.

What you give me. You confirm you have the right to the photos, reviews, words, and logos you give me, and that your license and insurance details are accurate. I may show your finished site in my own portfolio; tell me if you'd rather I didn't, and I won't.

What I don't promise. Nobody can promise a Google ranking or a number of calls, and I don't. I build and maintain the site carefully and fix what's in my control. Outages at the hosting company or other services the site depends on are outside my control, and I'll get you back up as soon as they're resolved.

Limits. If something goes wrong, the most I'm responsible for is what you paid me in the twelve months before it happened.

Ending service. If I ever stop providing a plan, I'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email and hand you a complete export of your site.

Changes to these terms. If these terms change, the new version appears here with a new date. I won't raise the price of a plan you're already on without at least 30 days' notice by email.

The law that applies. These terms are governed by California law.
